Connections
Connections are mutual links between Pokes accounts. Only accepted connections can poke each other (unless you share a guest control link). Open Connections (/connections) to search, accept requests, assign roles, and open control links.
Open Connections
- Sign in at pokes.love.
- Open Connections in the sidebar (
/connections). - Finish onboarding first if you see a yellow Continue setup banner: you need a complete profile to search and add people.
Premium creators see extra tools for roles, Sync Fansly, and group pokes.
Search and connect
- Click + Search users in the toolbar.
- Type an @handle or username (with or without
@). - Click Connect on the profile you want.
- Wait for them to Accept, unless they use auto-accept in Settings.
Pending requests appear under the Pending filter. Incoming invites show Accept / Decline on the card.
Filter your list
Toolbar filters:
- All: every connection
- Online / Offline: presence (respects privacy settings)
- Pending: outgoing or incoming requests
- Blocked: blocked users
Roles (Premium creators)
Roles set daily poke budgets per connection tier.
- Click + Assign roles.
- Add a role name and daily Pokes limit → + Add.
- Click Sync Fansly (when available, coming soon) to import Fansly subscription tiers as roles automatically.
- Pick a default role for new connections.
- On each connection card, assign No role or a tier name.
Free creators see: “Roles are a Premium Creator feature.”
Group pokes (Premium)
- Click + Group pokes.
- Select multiple connections.
- Use Poke them, Random, or None to send coordinated pokes to all those users with toys connected.
Per-connection controls
Each card shows online status, plan badges, and toggles for whether that person can poke you. Open the card context menu for actions such as poke, live draw, redeem control link, role toggles, and Sync. Use Ctrl links in the toolbar to jump to Control links (/control-links).
Viewers also have a read-only list at My connections (/me/connections).
Privacy settings that affect connections
From Settings (/settings):
- Auto-accept new requests
- New connections can poke you default
- Hide me from handle search
- Appear hidden / online
What you need
- Completed Pokes profile (onboarding done).
- Optional (creators): Premium for roles, Fansly sync, and group pokes.
How to test
- Search a second test account, send a request, and accept from the other side.
- Assign a low daily role limit and confirm the poke counter respects it on Pokes.
- Toggle Allow pokes off on one connection and verify they cannot poke you.
