Use Intiface with pokesBridge
Intiface Central lets pokesBridge control toys over Bluetooth (and other Intiface-supported transports). Use this when you want brands beyond Lovense Connect, or when you already run Intiface for VRChat / multi-toy setups.
Bridge talks to Intiface’s Buttplug websocket server. Default for Central on the same PC is 127.0.0.1:12345. You can also run Intiface Central on your phone and point Bridge at the phone’s LAN IP on the same Wi-Fi. The toy must be online in Intiface first; Bridge then lists it under Toys and can send test pokes and live tip commands.
Download Intiface Central from intiface.io/central (desktop) or the App Store / Play Store (phone). Keep Intiface Central and pokesBridge running while you stream.
Desktop Intiface Central on the stream PC (127.0.0.1) is the most reliable setup. Use phone Central when the toy connects more reliably to phone Bluetooth.
What you need
- pokesBridge desktop app, signed in as a Creator
- Intiface Central on the stream PC, or on a phone on the same Wi-Fi
- A toy Intiface supports, powered on and in range
- Bluetooth on the device that runs Intiface (PC or phone)
- Toys feature enabled in pokesBridge
How it works
- Your toy connects to Intiface Central (on the PC or on your phone, usually via Bluetooth).
- Intiface runs a server (websocket) that clients can join.
- pokesBridge connects to that server as client pokesBridge (
127.0.0.1for same-PC Central, or the phone LAN IP for phone Central). - Tips, commands, and test pokes from Pokes are sent through Bridge → Intiface → your toy.
You do not pair the toy to the Pokes website for this path. Intiface is the local device layer; Bridge is the link to your Pokes account.
Setup steps (Intiface Central on this PC)
1. Connect the toy in Intiface Central
- Turn on Bluetooth in Windows (or your OS) and power on the toy.
- Open Intiface Central.
- Start / connect Intiface’s engine / server so it is listening for devices and clients.
- Scan or connect the toy in Intiface until it shows as connected.
- Leave Intiface Central open. Do not stop the server while you stream.
Pair or connect the toy to this PC’s Bluetooth, not only to a phone, when Central runs on the PC.
2. Confirm the Intiface server address
Bridge defaults to:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Host | 127.0.0.1 |
| Port | 12345 |
If you changed the websocket port in Intiface Central, use that same port in Bridge.
3. Connect from pokesBridge
- Open pokesBridge and confirm Connected to Pokes.
- On the Bridge tab, enable Toys (Lovense / Intiface).
- Open the Toys row menu (···) → Connect (or the connect flow that shows Lovense and Intiface).
- Choose Intiface.
- Enter host and port (usually
127.0.0.1and12345) → Connect. - When status shows Connected, Bridge loads toys from Intiface.
- Use Test poke on a listed toy to confirm vibration.
- Use Refresh toys if you turn on or connect another toy after Bridge is already linked. Refresh always runs a new scan.
Auto-connect after your first Connect
This section describes new pokesBridge behavior that hasn't been checked on the live app yet.
Press Connect once and wait for it to succeed. After that, pokesBridge reconnects to Intiface by itself whenever Bridge starts, as long as you're signed in and Toys is enabled in Bridge. You don't need to open the connect flow or press Sync each time.
Auto-connect does not turn on from setup or an update alone. It needs that first successful Connect. If you press Disconnect, auto-connect turns off again until your next successful Connect.
- If Intiface Central isn't ready yet, Bridge tries again after 2, 5, 10, and 30 seconds.
- Each connect runs one scan for toys that lasts about 45 seconds, then stops scanning.
- If you turn on a toy after Bridge has connected, use Refresh toys. Refresh always runs a new scan, so late toys get found.
- If all four tries fail, Bridge stops trying and shows Start Intiface Central. The message stays until you start Central and its server, then click Connect or Refresh toys.
4. Stream with both apps running
Keep:
- Intiface Central running with the toy connected and the server up
- pokesBridge running with Toys enabled and Intiface connected
If either app closes, tip-driven toy commands for Intiface devices stop.
Intiface Central on your phone
Use this when the toy pairs better to phone Bluetooth. pokesBridge still runs on the stream PC; it connects over Wi-Fi to Central on the phone.
- Put the phone and stream PC on the same Wi-Fi (avoid guest Wi-Fi / client isolation).
- Install Intiface Central from the App Store or Play Store.
- Open Central on the phone; start the engine / server.
- Connect the toy in Central until it shows online. Leave Central open.
- Note the phone’s LAN IPv4 (Wi-Fi details on the phone, or the server address Central shows). Do not use a cellular / VPN-only address.
- In pokesBridge → Toys → Intiface, set:
- Host: the phone LAN IP (example
192.168.1.42) - Port: usually
12345(or the port Central shows)
- Host: the phone LAN IP (example
- Tap Connect. Toys from the phone should list in Bridge.
- Use Test poke, then keep phone Central and pokesBridge running while you stream.
Pokes does not tunnel Intiface over the internet. Phone and PC must share a LAN. If Connect fails, check Wi-Fi isolation, the phone IP, and that Central’s engine is listening for clients (not stopped / sleep-locked).
On iPhone / iPad, allow Local Network for Intiface Central when prompted so the PC can reach the server.
After you connect
- Toys appear in Bridge with name, features (for example Vibrate), and battery when Intiface reports it.
- Test poke sends a short vibrate through Intiface (good pre-stream check).
- Live tips and poke automation use the same Intiface session once Bridge is connected to Pokes.
Optional: you can still use Lovense Connect for Lovense toys instead of Intiface. Pick one path per session for a given toy to avoid fighting two controllers.
How to test
- Toy online in Intiface Central (PC or phone).
- Bridge → Toys → Intiface → Connected, toy listed.
- Tap Test poke in Bridge and confirm the toy moves.
- Run Test Tips while streaming tools are live.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Bridge cannot connect (same PC) | Intiface Central is open, engine/server started, host/port match (default 127.0.0.1:12345) |
| Bridge cannot connect (phone) | Same Wi-Fi; correct phone LAN IP; engine running; iOS Local Network allowed; avoid guest Wi-Fi |
| Error says Start Intiface Central | Intiface Central is closed or its server is stopped. Open Central, start the server, then click Connect or Refresh toys in Bridge |
| No toys in Intiface yet | Connect the toy inside Intiface Central first, then Refresh toys in Bridge |
| Toy missing after connect | Bluetooth on the device running Central; toy charged/in range; connected in Intiface (not only paired in OS settings) |
| Test poke fails | Toy still connected in Intiface; reconnect Intiface in Bridge; try a simple vibrate in Intiface’s own UI |
| Tips do nothing | Bridge shows Connected to Pokes, Toys enabled, Intiface still connected; tip rules / bot actually firing |
| Phone sleeps mid-stream | Keep the phone awake / screen on, or use desktop Central on the PC instead |
