Test Tips
Test Tips fires a fake tip through the same pipeline as real platform tips: without posting public chat thank-yous. Use it to verify tip rules, toy reactions, and overlays before viewers arrive.
Open Tip Settings → Test Tips (/tip-settings/test-tips). Creator + Premium + paired pokesBot required.
Run a test tip
- Confirm pokesBot shows Connected on
/pokesBot. - Open
/tip-settings/test-tips. - Enter an amount that matches a tip rule row.
- Send the test tip.
- Confirm the correct toy reaction and overlay event (if OBS URL is open in a browser tab).
Recent tests list
The page keeps a short list of recent test tips with retry and delete actions: handy when iterating on tip rule ordering.
What test mode skips
- Public chat thank-you messages (so you do not spam your room during setup)
- Real money movement: this is simulation only
Toy commands and overlay triggers should still fire when rules match.

How to test checklist
- Small amount matching first rule row
- Amount matching a lower-priority row (confirm first-match wins)
- Overlay browser tab open for alerts/tip menu
- piShock or OSC rows if you use those integrations
