Sync Toys
Sync toys refreshes your toys on Pokes by attempting to get the list of active toys from the app you are connecting your Lovense toy with. Use it after pairing, when a toy shows incorrect info, or when you add a new device in your Lovense toy connection app.
When to sync
- Right after QR or pairing-code connection if something looks wrong
- A toy works in Lovense Remote but shows offline in Pokes
- You renamed or reconnected a device in the Lovense app and need update the info on Pokes
How to sync
- Open Toys (
/toys). - Click Sync in the toolbar above your toys, or open Device Tools and choose Sync toys. The icon spins while syncing.
- Wait until the toy panel updates: online toys show control panels.
The same sync action is available in pokesBridge and the browser extension side panel (when the extension launches).
Toys toolbar and Device Tools
This section describes an updated Toys page that hasn't been checked on the live app yet.
Above your toy panels, the toolbar has three controls:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sync | Refreshes your toy list. It shows even before any toy is online, so you can use it right after pairing. On small screens it shows only the icon. |
| Emergency stop | Stops every online toy at once. See Emergency stop. |
| Device Tools | Opens a menu with the rest of the toy tools. |
The Device Tools menu is split into sections:
- Toys: Test rules and Disconnect all toys.
- Queue (shows when there are queue tools to list): Skip moves past what's playing now, and Clear empties everything waiting in the queue.
- Then Sync toys and Emergency stop.
- PiShock (last, only when PiShock is connected): PiShock settings opens your PiShock page (
/pokesBot/pishock).
Each toy card still has its own Emergency stop if you only want to stop that one toy.
Multi-toy setups
- Each online toy appears as its own panel with sliders and feature toggles depending on what the toy has available.
- Link channels button (when shown) ties toys together.
- Random mode and speed slider apply across toys.
If only one toy should react to pokes, confirm the correct toy is selected on Pokes (/pokes) before sending.
After manual disconnect
If you used Disconnect all toys in Device Tools, toys are removed from Pokes until you pair again:
- Tap reset beside the pairing code if needed to show an updated pairing code.
- Scan QR or enter a new pairing code (Depending on which app you use to connect your toy).
- Sync toys once Lovense shows the device to be sure pokes updates your account with the current accurate info.
What you need
- Lovense Remote mobile or desktop app running with toys connected
- Mobile device on same network if using pokesBridge for local connection to your toy instead of going through the Lovense cloud API.
How to test
- Disconnect a toy in Lovense Remote or close the app, sync, and confirm Pokes marks it offline.
- Reconnect in Lovense, sync again, and confirm it returns online with correct information.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Sync spins forever | Restart Lovense Remote; reload /toys |
| Wrong toy count | Disconnect all in Pokes, re-pair once |
| Toy online in Lovense only | Same Wi‑Fi/network as browser; see Lovense Troubleshooting, try using pokesBridge app to fully sync toys with Pokes |
Swapped to a different device mid-stream? After sync, Pokes may remap tip rules and mini-games to the toy you have online now. See Toy remapping for more info on how Pokes remaps your toys.
