Toy Status and Battery
Pokes shows live toy status on Toys (/toys), on connection cards, and on the Pokes target picker. Status comes from Lovense through your linked account: refresh with Sync toys when something looks wrong.
Online vs offline
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Online dot on toy card | Lovense reports the device connected and reachable |
| Offline | Toy disconnected from Lovense or Pokes lost the bridge |
Target offline on /pokes | The person you selected has no online toy in Pokes |
Creators control whether connections see their online status via Settings → Appear hidden / online.
Battery
When Lovense provides battery data, toy cards may show charge level. Low battery can cause missed or weak pokes: charge before long sessions.
Battery display depends on the toy model and Lovense app you use to connect; not every app reports level to Pokes. In this case you would need to download pokesBridge to allow for the app to fully sync the battery status. You may see a notice about this if your battery status is missed on toy sync.
Connection labels
Check these labels on /toys and in the sidebar with pokesBridge 1.4.50-beta or newer before removing this note.
Each toy shows how it reaches Pokes. The Devices list on Toys and the sidebar card use the same labels:
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
pokesBridge > Lovense Remote | pokesBridge found the toy through Lovense Remote on this PC |
pokesBridge > Lovense Connect | pokesBridge found the toy through Lovense Connect |
pokesBridge > Lovense | pokesBridge found a Lovense toy but hasn't reported which app yet. Press Sync once |
pokesBridge > Bluetooth | The toy is connected to pokesBridge over Bluetooth (beta) |
pokesBridge > Intiface | The toy comes from Intiface Central through pokesBridge |
pokesBridge | A device pokesBridge runs directly, like an Xbox controller |
Lovense QR | The toy is linked with the Lovense QR code, without pokesBridge |
You can tab to each label with the keyboard, and its tooltip opens when it gets focus. Long toy and section names are cut short, and the full name shows when you hover over them.
Sidebar connection card
Check the card in the dashboard sidebar with a toy connected and with none connected.
While a toy or device is connected, a small card shows at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar. It has a green dot, the connection label, and one row per device. Online devices are lit and offline ones are dimmed. The card doesn't say "connected". The green dot shows that instead, and screen readers read the status out loud.
When nothing is connected, the card goes away. In the narrow sidebar it shrinks to a dot with a tooltip. The account menu opens right above your user button, on top of the card.
Hidden toys and Restore
Check Restore on a hidden toy on a narrow screen (about 390px wide).
If you hide or forget a toy, it moves to the hidden list on Toys. To bring it back, open the menu on that toy's row and choose Restore. Your settings and rules for that toy are kept.
On narrow screens the toy name and status sit on two lines, so the menu with Restore always stays visible.
Rename toys
Use RENAME on a toy card so panel labels match physical devices. Correct names help when selecting ACTION on the Pokes page or debugging wrong-toy responses.
Overlays
The Toys overlay (/overlays/toys) mirrors on-stream toy status for viewers. Copy the OBS browser URL from that editor after your toys are online.
