Alerts Overlay

The Alerts overlay (/overlays/alerts) shows 16:9 on-stream cards when tips, pokes, or control-link events fire. Pair with pokesBot and tip rules for live content.

Setup

1. Open /overlays/alerts.
2. Customize layout, colors, duration, and motion.
3. Copy the browser source URL (with token).
4. Add to OBS as a Browser source (typically 1920×1080).
5. Run Test Tips to preview.

What triggers alerts

• Matching tip rules from your active platform
• Pokes from connections (when configured to surface)
• Control-link events (redeem, session milestones: per editor settings)

Editor actions

Standard overlay header buttons:

• Copy URL: clipboard for OBS
• Pop out: preview in a new window
• Reset: restore default styling
• Regenerate token: invalidate old OBS URLs

What you need

• Premium creator + paired pokesBot for tip-driven alerts
• Tip rules on /tip-rules

Troubleshooting

Blank overlay? Test URL in Chrome first. No tip alerts? Tip Rules Not Triggering.
