Layout Editor (Unified Overlay)

The Unified overlay editor (/overlays/editor) is a VIP work-in-progress: combine alerts, chat, tip menu, and other widgets into a single stage rendered at /overlays/render.

Who can access

VIP badge appears in the sidebar. Premium alone may not unlock the layout editor: see Why Is a Feature Locked?.

Workflow

1. Open /overlays/editor.
2. Place widgets on the unified canvas.
3. Copy the combined browser source URL (render endpoint).
4. Add one OBS browser source instead of many separate URLs.

Status

The editor is marked W.I.P. in the hub: expect layout and widget parity to evolve. Keep standalone overlays as fallback for production streams.

Troubleshooting

Feature locked? VIP grant required. Render blank? Test /overlays/render URL with token in a browser tab.
