Tip Menu Overlay

The Tip menu overlay (/overlays/tip-menu) renders the menu you define in Tip rules (/tip-rules): amounts, labels, and styling for OBS.

Setup​

  1. Configure rows on /tip-rules.
  2. Open /overlays/tip-menu and style the menu chrome, including optional text shadows on labels.
  3. Copy browser source URL to OBS.
  4. Update tip rules anytime: refresh or autosave keeps overlay in sync.

Best practices​

  • Keep menu rows aligned with actual tip rule behavior (first match wins).
  • Highlight featured tiers viewers can actually trigger on your platform.
  • Pair with Alerts for thank-you visuals.

Menu empty? Add tip rules. Wrong amounts? Re-order rows on /tip-rules.
