Why Is a Feature Locked?
Pokes hides or locks features based on three things: your subscription tier, your account type (Creator vs Viewer), and sometimes a VIP grant for advanced tools.
The dashboard and server enforce the same rules: upgrading in one place updates both.
Subscription tiers

Account type matters
Viewers never see creator streaming tools, even on Premium:
- Overlays (
/overlays) - pokesBot management (full settings)
- Commands (
/commands) - Tip rules and test tips (
/tip-settings)
Viewers can use Premium for higher poke limits and creating outgoing control links.
Creators need Premium for most stream automation. Free creators still get toys, connections, and pokes with standard caps.

Downgrade behavior
If Premium expires:
- Creator streaming pages redirect or show upgrade prompts.
- pokesBot may leave your Fansly chat;
/pokesBotcan show disconnect-only until you upgrade or remove the pairing. - Control links you created remain in the database but manager actions may be limited.
Incomplete profile
Some actions are blocked until onboarding finishes (/onboarding):
- Searching users and sending connection requests
- Poking anyone except 💗 Myself
Finish setup via the yellow Continue setup banner.
What to check first
- Settings: confirm Creator vs Viewer and plan badge (FREE / PREMIUM / VIP).
- Billing: confirm an active subscription.
- Onboarding: complete if banners appear on Connections or Pokes.
- Sidebar: if the item is absent entirely, account type or plan is the likely cause.
Troubleshooting
- Still stuck after upgrading? Sign out and back in, or wait a minute after
/upgrade-success. - See Locked Features and Billing Problems.
- Wrong account type? Switch to Creator in Settings if you intend to stream.
